  • Disability Resources
    One of the more powerful aspects of this site is the breakdown by state.  By clicking on the state of interest this site breaks down everything from advocacy, employment, to services for specific disabilities.             
                                     
  • Disability Categories
    This website details the same disabilities that are listed above.  In addition to providing more information about each disability they also provide resources for parents, educators, strategies for interaction as well as links to IDEA/504.
     
  • AER
    This site provides information for professionals in the field of working with the blind and vision impaired.
     
  • Assistive Technologies
    This site allows you to view various assistive technologies that are available.  You can also order various technologies off of this web site.
  • Myths about ADD
    This site highlights information from the book The Myth of the ADD Child.  It also provides a list of 50 things that can be done to improve a child's behavior without medicating them.
  • Multiple Intelligences
    This ever growing field describing the different ways that children learn and how we as teachers need to adapt to these different methods is detailed within this site.
  • Autism
    Get additional information about autism and what causes it.  This is a great site for kids to begin learning about their disability and what control they have.

    Stay current with changes to the law, or simply become informed about the law that is an integral part of our careers.  You have the opportunity to focus on birth to age 2 or from age 3 to 21.
